When the person joins a network marketing company, they leave the meeting feeling great and hopeful. They're like, wow, this is it. This is the vehicle that's going to help me live my dream. This is going to help me pay the bills that I want to pay. They can't wait to share it especially with those that are close to them. Then they get this reaction, “Are you a part of one of those things?” Or, “They got you too? Huh? I can't believe you got involved with one of those.”
When they don't get the approval or the acceptance from those that they care about, they disappear. You call to help them get started but no answer. Guess what? You don't ever hear from them again. How to address that? One of my mentor shared some advice. He said create a story that addresses all of the objections an individual may have about becoming a network marketer. If you address all objections in your story, it decreases people quitting once they join, even after they shared it with their family and their friends. I felt the same way until someone addressed my objections. Worrying about what people say or think can cause you to miss out on your blessing.
