What's the number one retention strategy for your business? I believe the number one strategy is getting people paid as fast as possible. Retention is keeping people around after they have joined your team or your business. I believe the fastest way is getting money or their return on their investment back as soon as possible. When that happens there's a sense of this really works.
People will join business opportunities with the intention of making money but not really believing they can make money. If you can help them get paid as fast as possible there's a better chance you have of them sticking around . Don't do the work for them. Simply show that if you put in the work you can get paid but if you don't, you won't get paid. In network marketing, you are paid what you're worth.
I introduced a friend to some products and her entire family got results. After using the product for several months I asked her if she ever thought about getting paid. She said she did think about that and wanted to give it a try. I suggested to don't just give it a try because the first opposition or resistance you run into the easier it may be to quit. If you're going to do it, commit to it. She did commit to it. I got a text message from her about two weeks later with a picture of a check from the company. Her text read “this thing really work. I can get used to getting paid every week.” She was so excited because she got paid which made her a believer.
I think your main focus should be to get your new people paid as soon as possible. Let them know it is going to require then put the getting started steps into action.
